Let me start off by saying I'm a hardcore fan of the fate universe, I've played every game to date, I've read every novel and I'm learning japanese just to read those few that are left untranslated, you might think "this will be just a biased 'this game is incredible' review" and you are right, this game is incredibly... bad. There's no room for strategy, skill, logic, brain, is just a 'go here kill everything, go there kill everything,' you have some strong attacks that just add a little spice to the whole game you could go trough pressing a single button, levels increase in difficulty by just adding ranged enemies that you have to chase around the area before they stun lock you and of course the areas are so well designed you will get lost many times just trying to find the exit; the gameplay itself is horrible, but this is a Fate game, the story is it's strong point right? The story is so weak I'd imagine a 11 y/o boy thought it out, there's no twists or mindblows, everything is so predictable and boring that moving trough the text is more like a chore, most of the time you'll just find yourself passing through the text to move on to the battle. This is my final opinion: I love Tamamo no Mae and she's 90% the reason I bought this game, but her story was so bland and the game ended up being so frustrating that I dropped it near the end, I'll just go play zelda or mario kart instead. I regret buying this game and I hope Type Moon will be more careful with whom they let develop their games in the future.
