I use mine as eyeshadow as well as a fabulous blush/highlighter. The pigments are silky, long-lasting, and work great on my combination skin. I'm an American Black Girl with skin a little lighter than Beyonce & dyed magenta/auburn hair ( & dark roots).
You might get better color if you used your mind alone to imagine pink cheeks. So light and un-pigmented as to be invisible. If you build up enough to be visible in the earth light spectrum, you look powdery and icky. Such a cute package, I am going to pry up the pan and put something else in- which make it a two doored compact. I put a powder pan in the mirrored side.
I always have a hard time with blush - finding the right colors to use. I'm Portuguese so I do have a medium skin tone, but in the summer I'm very dark and in the winter fairly light. I have purchased many, many, many blushes from many different companies and I usually have to blend 2 or 3 to get a color I like. With this I am getting 4 colors! I use my Kabuki brush to blend the colors on and it looks great - a really nice natural blush. LOVE it!! Enough said!
Ain't joking when they call it nude, I could barely see anything after applying several times...thus the 1 missing star, but quality wise, the product is good. Packaging is nice, not flimsy but pretty solid, the powder is thin and smooth. My skin is pretty dry and sometimes using powder product can dry it even more, but this doesn't. So overall, I would still say it's a good product.
I love Physicians Formula products and this blush is beautiful! It has a shimmery top spray that only lasts the first few uses, so if you want a shimmery blush, this isn't it. But l didn't want shimmer, so it is perfect. This product will last for many months!
