Have purchased this before and will continue to do so. and for people giving this one star for not having a spray top (5 litre spray bottle are you joking) when it is designed to refill the smaller spray bottles. and for it not being bike cleaner but motorcycle cleaner (because they click on the wrong button) you really need to get a life... This stuff is above and beyond the best cleaner out there. Not just for bike (and yes it can be used on motorbikes and cars too) but great for upvc window frames, even glass, almost every plastic known to man. I even use it to clean the patio slabs..
Oh and saying it removes the oil and lubricants from the bike chain etc. Yeah of course it does, which is why you are recommended to re lube stuff, once the bike is dry. Really, people that can't or don't read instructions, really shouldn't be buying this stuff. I was almost expecting to read someone saying "Bought this for my kids party, but doesn't taste very nice and made a couple of them very sick".. There really are some very silly people out there.
Reading the product description, you'd think all you need to do is rinse the bike, spray the stuff on, wait a few minutes then rinse off. It's not like that at all. You will also need a sponge, a good brush and maybe a toothbrush as well and be prepared to use them if you want a completely grime free bike. It's a little bit better than washing up liquid, but not by much. Is it worth the money? For glorified washing up liquid, I'm not sure.
My first time using Muc-off. Will defo use again, even did a good job with the chain - though next time I will use a proper de-greaser. Put the bike in the bath (whilst Mrs was away LoL - I live in a flat with no outside hose) rinsed first and sprayed with Muc-off. dirst ran off like a treat.
My recent purchase Alu bike was caked with some weird thick sticky black gunk, i tried parrafin to remove and it didnt do snot. i couldnt use paint stripper as that would have ruined the paint work, then i thought sticky stuff remover, but for the job i would need loads, which would cost a bomb. so i started to google and came accross this product. I was like na not this. but the reviews said other wise. i risked and purchased 1L to try. came today in the evening almost dark. i was eager to try so flood light on and i sprayed it on. OMG this stuff is blooming awesome. i am suppoed to wait 5 mins to let it soak but started to lightly rub straight away and it was actully cleaning the bike, the caked gunk needed some time to soak but it came off really well with some brushing with a dish brush. only between the wheen triangle i couldnt get the brush in so ill need to soak more. and it washed right off off with plain water. it smells cirusy so i imagine thats the active ingrediant. i highly recoment this. i will say though, i wish the sprayer had a spread to it. its a sharp think stream so aiming at frame is hard and does get wasted by missed squirts.
