Erasers are used for more than just providing precise media removal. An eraser is actually an artist’s tool, much like a burnisher or blender. The Derwent battery operated model will thoroughly erase the darkest graphite with ease, but you can also use it for pencil and charcoal edge cleanup, for creating crisp, erased edges within tight areas and for pulling out small detail highlights in a graphite drawings. The operating button is positioned on top of the eraser for right and left-handed users and is comfortable to use. A favorite of artists of all levels.

Erasers Aren't Just for Erasing
The precise control offered by Derwent’s Battery Operated Eraser also makes it a great tool for highlighting. View our hints and tips to see how the eraser is used to refine a small area, such as adding a highlight to a dog’s eye. Change the eraser shape by working it on a spare piece of paper. A flat tip will give you a sharp edge, which will erase a thin line, whereas a round tip will allow you to erase a small dot.
