Descripción del producto
Color:Red Nespresso introduces the VertuoPlus by De'Longhi, with an all-new design and colors for the ultimate brewing experience. Offering freshly brewed Coffee with crema as well as delicious, authentic Espresso, the VertuoPlus machine conveniently makes two cup sizes at the touch of a button: 8 oz. Coffee and 1.35 oz. Espresso. It uses two different capsule sizes: large capsule Coffee and a small one for Espresso. Nespresso brings together the know-how of all its coffee experts, who have carefully chosen the origin and roasting of each coffee blend and created a brewing system using Centrifusion technology, a patented extraction technology developed by Nespresso. Just insert a capsule and close the lever — when activated, the capsule spins up to 7,000 rotations per minute, blending ground coffee with water and producing the perfect crema to enjoy quality coffee in larger cup sizes. The machine delivers the optimal in-cup results for each blend using capsule-specific brewing with barcode reading. New features include a moveable water tank to fit different kitchen counter space, as well as a motorized opening and closing of the brew head. The VertuoPlus also comes in a deluxe premium version with extra-large water tank and capsule container and chromed details. Each machine includes a complimentary welcome set with a range of Nespresso Vertuo capsules with unique aroma profiles. Order your Nespresso capsules, receive personalized advice, and obtain technical support or repair for your machine through the Nespresso Club via mobile app, online at Nespresso.com, by telephone or in one of our Boutiques.

5 Cup Sizes
One convenient machine for 5 cup sizes: five cup sizes: Alto Coffee (14 oz), Coffee (8oz), Gran Lungo (5 oz), Double Espresso (2.7 oz) and Espresso (1.35 oz). Each capsule delivers the finest roast and ground coffee sealed in a single-serve portion for optimal freshness.
Centrifusion Extraction Technology
VertuoPlus coffee makers use an extraction technology developed by Nespresso known as Centrifusion. Centrifusion technology spins up to 7,000 rotations per minute, blending ground coffee with water and producing the perfect in-cup result for each blend.
VertuoPlus uses an intelligent extraction system that recognizes each capsule, thanks to a barcode on the rim of the capsule. This means that each capsule's brewing parameters are adjusted by the machine depending on the selected Grand Cru. There is no need to change settings for the best in-cup result for your chosen blend - all at the touch of a button.
Simple, One-Touch Brewing
Create exceptional freshly brewed Coffee or authentic Espresso at the touch of a single button. The capsule is automatically ejected after brewing, with only a short preheat time. The cup support is adjustable to four positions to accommodate different cup and recipe sizes.

Most coffee makers use some variation of pouring hot water over coffee grounds, from standard drip machines to the convenience of Keurig machines. The first generation Nespresso machine used the traditional Espresso technique of pressurized water forced through the coffee grounds. While this produces superior coffee, it also is loud because of the pressurized pump required, and is also prone to mechanical failure. The new generation Vertuo machines use a entirely new way of making coffee by putting the coffee pod in a miniature centrifuge and using that pressure to drive the hot water through the coffee instead of using hydraulic pressure. The result is fantastic-- a rich coffee with an amazing crema that is the equal or better to any you've ever tasted.
The pros: it gives a rich brewed crema to both espresso and regular coffee blends. It is super easy to use and quiet and actually is smaller than my Keurig. It gives coffee that is the equal or better to Starbucks, especially if you use a separate frother when you blend in milk or cream.
The cons: EXPENSE. The pods are only sold by Nespresso, are limited in availability, and cost over a buck a piece. That's why I would really recommend to try before you buy if you can--- if you truly love great coffee or if you want to cut back on your Starbucks habit but can't face just ordinary drip coffee, this Nespresso could be your new best friend.
-The machine is much quieter
-One touch to warm up (fast) and brew
-Completely customizable cup volume from 2 through 14 oz (a basic idea lost on Caffitaly or Starbucks)
(btw I would not pay more for the ALTO 14 oz pods - the more intense regular sizes seem to stretch to 12 oz + and still give you a great cup.)
-Water tank you can grip in one hand, lift off, and refill easily
-One touch powered mechanism to drop a pod in
-Used pod box you can lift out with one finger and empty
- ALL THE WATER ENDS UP IN YOUR CUP - none in the pod box, or anywhere else.
- The coffee is pretty good too - $1.1 per cup - worth it for the convenience imho
No TEA capsules yet - hopefully soon
The only single-serve, pod-type system that produces a good cup of coffee — in my opinion — is the original Nespresso line. The Vertuoline is an attempt to attract a more American market and really is unnecessary. I was skeptical of the original line until I tried it. The espresso produced seriously matches that which I remember from Italy and is superior to anything Starbucks and the like produces. If you want an American strength coffee, then simply pop a mug of water in the microwave for 30 seconds and then top it off with a shot of Nespresso espresso. For those who don't like strong coffee, the Cosi pods produce a very American cup this way. For those wanted a richer coffee, the Roma pods are very nice indeed. There are many options and almost all of them good where the original line is concerned.
Long story short: This machine is going back.
Unfortunately, it is too late to return it, but I can at least warn others away from this machine.
The unit is much quieter than the Nespresso Pixie Espresso Maker I have and it heats up more quickly. For early morning use the Pixie is loud enough to wake up a light sleeper. That is not a worry with the new machine.
I like the option to make full size cups of coffee and the selection of pods that came with the machine was varied enough to help me find the flavors I enjoy best. I will keep using the Pixie for espresso until the Veturoline espresso sized pods find a lower price-per-cup.
I do think the price per Veturoline pod is high but that does not detract from the machine.
I have read some reviews about a problem with scaling. I only use distilled water in all of my coffee machines and although I have only had this machine for just over 5 months, I have used my 1st Nespresso machine almost daily for over 2 years and I have not experienced any scaling issues with it.
The Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Maker by De'Longhi is a good machine and with a fair price. It is easy to use and easy to clean and has a larger water reservoir than expected. If you are interested in trying the Veturoline pods I recommend this machine.
A press of a button and the lid lifts, put in a pod, shut the lid and push the button. That's all you do! Clean, no mess and the most amazing cup of coffee I have ever had. I love pour overs; these are better. It leaves a thick creme on the top of your cup. A Note:
1.This coffee maker comes with a large sample pack of both coffee pods and espresso pods. I recommend waiting until you have tried all the samples before ordering pods. The flavors are very distinct you will have favorites and want to order those.
2. Be aware that the pods run from about $90 each for espresso to $2 each for coffee. (worth it and cheaper than a coffee stand)
3. This is only compatible with Virtualine pods! You can not use other Nespresso pods.
Because of the price I gave it 4 stars but quality, price and convenience can't be beat
