It's not rocket science. It's just unorganized.
Reseñado en los Estados Unidos el 5 de diciembre de 2018Tamaño: TwinCompra verificada
Ok so all the reviews are right, you've got to assemble this yourself, you'll have missing parts, the instructions aren't clear. BUT it doesn't take a genius to figure it out. The instructions say you need 16 "J" screws. I only had 8 and that was all I actually need. The rest are extras that didn't come with the box. The rest of the box mattress parts were completely there. The screws and bolts etc came out of their box and were all over the bottom of the bigger box. No big deal, as long as I have what I need I can make it. So can you. I did it myself, took me about 30 minutes. The hard part was putting the cover on with just one person. But I still figured it out. One thing for sure is no need to work out for the week if you put the cover yourself cause I sweated like no other doing that! It's great quality but I'm only giving it 4 stars instead of 5, because the instructions were inaccurate with how much of each item I'm supposed to have and I was waisting time figuring out descriptionless pictures. As long as you have all the NECESSARY parts you should be fine.

A classic two beer job
Reseñado en los Estados Unidos el 6 de enero de 2019Compra verificada
An honest review by someone who was skeptical of the mixed reviews for this product.
I figured that this would be a two beer assembly job (king size boxspring). When I picked the package up from my porch, I immediately heard the jangling of loose screws. At that moment, I thought I wouldn't have enough beer to get this done.
To my astonishment, the package was taped up so well that not a single nut or bolt were lost even though the bubble packaging holding the screws failed. Kudos to the human or machine who taped it shut. Alexa, please send my praise to the responsible party.
The frame went together well, it appeared, at first, that it was a bit tweaked. After the full assembly, it was very close to straight (good as any store-bought wooden boxspring). This product saved me a lot of money and I'm quite happy. It feels very solid paired with the Zinus Compack metal frame also on Amazon. After delivery, I'm lucky that I went with this because a king boxspring would not fit up the stairs but this was perfect and, in the future, I can undo some screws to break it in half for moving.
All I know is I'm sleeping on a box spring for near the price of slats, an easy 5 stars.

Best king frame for the money $$$
Reseñado en los Estados Unidos el 22 de enero de 2019Compra verificada
I read all the reviews, and it seemed the biggest problem people had was putting it together and reading directions. I can see that happening if you rush it and don't pay attention. Look at the pictures, notice where the tabs are on the bars (pointing up) for the cross members, and where the holes are located. There are different length screws for a reason and anyone who's logical will understand why. I'm used to building IKEA furniture and similar items, so it literally took me 15-20 minutes to assemble this. No problems with the directions. I did use a wrench from a socket set and a drill with a hex bit to save some time, but the included tools would have worked just fine. Just would have possibly increased the assembly time to 25-30 minutes. The most difficult part (once assembling the frame pictured here), is getting the cloth-like zipper cover over the frame. It literally "fits like a glove". You can do it alone, but two people is tons easier in my opinion. The cross bars do not screw in, they just sit in little grooves and you pop them in from above. I would recommend spreading out how you install those so they go in easier, don't just do them in a sequential order or you'll create too much tension on one side and have no "play" for the other side. A rubber mallet is also nice to tap the few stubborn bars in without denting/scratching them. A wooden board or wash cloth and hammer would work also. The frame is incredibly strong, if anyone is wondering for either larger folks or anyone who wants to be very active (you know what I mean here). I'm just over 6'1" and about 185, and no amount of bouncing/physical activity made it squeak or bend so far. For sheer weight, between friends and animals on it, I've had over 400 lbs on it at once and no problem whatsoever. It's very light when assembled and easy to move around. Would highly recommend, you won'd find a better box spring for the money anywhere, I checked. I also like that it really can't get damaged/wet like a normal wooden box spring.

Assembly nightmare--sending it back
Reseñado en los Estados Unidos el 30 de noviembre de 2018Compra verificada
I should have read the reviews before ordering this. It's a really junky, poorly made product. The screws don't fit in the nuts provided, and even if they did, it would take eight bionic arms to hold this thing together while you assemble it. I'm sending it back. AND, the return process is frustrating--the UPS pickup is supposed to be free but UPS is trying to charge me, so now I have to drop it off at a UPS location, and it's a big, heavy box. Do yourself a favor and avoid this one--there are other similarly priced box springs on Amazon that are much better.
